Double Shot Duo (Friday 3:00pm-5:00pm)
Whiskey Mojo (Friday 5:30pm-7:30pm)
Whiskey Mojo is a dynamic commercial band of experienced musicians who play many types of shows, such as festivals, weddings, corporate events, birthday parties and pubs.
The band is dually fronted by a married couple, Jean Collins and Dave Vaillancourt. Both sing lead and harmony vocals and have been doing so for the past 20 years. Anchoring their sound is Dave Murray on bass, and keeping the beat is Fred Collins on drums and vocals. The members of Whiskey Mojo came together in the Durham region in 2012. Each member brings their own experiences and skill to the stage. Covering songs from many genres such as Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Country Rock, Oldies, and Blues is sure to appeal to listeners of all ages.
Barbara Lynn Doran (Friday 8:00pm-10:00pm)
With an energetic voice that demands to be heard as well as honest, soulful lyrics meant to tear at the heart strings, Brooklin, Ontario-based country singer/songwriter Barbara Lynn Doran unleashes an auditory feast for her fans, giving a deep, raw, emotional energy that meets in between the most electrifying country songs and the strong, heartfelt power ballads of classic rock.
Always one to push herself forward in the name of music, Doran has amassed a number of significant accomplishments over her career. Along with recording three albums, she has most notably been placed on the Nashville Songwriters Association’s 2014 “Ones To Watch” list, has been a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition for two years in a row; a finalist in the Great American Songwriting Competition; and was part of the first round ballot nominees in four categories at the inaugural Country Music Association of Ontario Awards.
Cove & the Current (Saturday 3:00pm-5:00pm)Cove & The Current is a 4-piece indie rock band from Durham region, Ontario. The band consists of Joel Stewart (Vocals/guitar), Matt Neshevich (Guitar), Joe DeHaan (Bass), Daniel Gallinger (Drums).
Born on the shores of Hubbards Nova Scotia, the idea for Cove & The Current came to be as Joel took to the beach for a 3-day late night jam session with some local musicians. From guitars and fiddles to bongos and local growlers, we all howled late into the night. Joel thought to bring to life the feelings of those late night Hubbards Beach jam sessions to lay the foundation in which Cove & The Current has become.Cove & The Current are currently preparing an E.P album and gearing up to play local audiences in the GTA. We hope the songs will inspire people to do what they love and to never give up on their dreams
Spitfire Kings (Saturday 5:30pm-7:30pm)
Playing a combination of Classic Rock, Party Rock, Disco, Country, Blues, Funk and Soul, the Spitfire Kings are covering all the bases. Made up of veteran local musicians, guitar player and vocalist Rick Menary, Bassist Rahlen Sullaphen and Drummer/Vocalist Craig Toutant, and rounding out the line up on Keyboard/Vocals Chris Oliver. With terrific vocal harmonies and perfect song selection, this band will make your toes tap and your hands clap. Whether playing to a more mature sit-down crowd or a room full of dancing partiers the Spitfire Kings delivers.
Canada Rockz (Saturday 8:00pm-10:00pm)
CANADA ROCKZ is a premier Classic Rock tribute to the best of Canadian Rock over the past 40 years from APRIL WINE to BTO – BRYAN ADAMS to TRAGICALLY HIP – GUESS WHO to LOVER BOY – COLIN JAMES – JEFF HEALEY – CHILLIWACK – LIGHTHOUSE – and many others are represented in the shows we play.
Courtney Bowles (Sunday 2:30pm-4:30pm)
Courtney Sings multi-genre and accompanies herself with either Piano or Acoustic Guitar.
In recent months, she has hired a BAND who is available to accompany her at notable performances. Graham Unsted on Guitar & Keys, Dan Felushko on Percussion & Jesse McCormack slappin the bass.
She has Showcased 4 of her originals on Country 89s Morning Show “Friday Live with Rob & Megan”, performed in a DUO at the Country 89 Balls Falls Thanksgiving Festival Nov 2017 and Bent Summer Soltice, 2018 with a band.
She has also performed her original music at the Geneva Event Center in Orillia, The Madi Centre for the Performing Arts in Barrie, Oshawa City Hall and Travelled down to play Pride in the Park for Pride Niagara Summer of 2017 and opened for CHI CHI DEVAYNE.
Jesse Slack Band (Sunday 5:00pm-7:00pm)
Jesse Slack is a talented artist with a passion for modern country music, rock and pop.
Hailing from Ontario, this charismatic singer and songwriter managed to combine stunning melodies with meaningful lyrics and outstanding hooks, in order to create a catchy, yet direct and edgy sound.
Jesse had the opportunity to share his music to a vast audience, performing live and stepping on some important stages in the process!
Jesse Slack’s recent release, I Wish I Never Met You, marks a significant step forward for the artist’s career. This song is catchy and easy to relate to, yet disarmingly heartfelt and personal, due to the intimate nature of the lyrics. The new single is taken off Jesse’s upcoming EP, a record titled “Young & Free”, which will follow the single release and hit the music scene early in March 2018.
